The worst part of this flu has been, for me, the never-ending headache. I fall asleep with it, wake up with it and it's with me all the time. Compared to what some people have been through with this bug, I shouldn't complain but I'll be very glad when it is over.Mr. Q.O. got this shot of Lester's paw. Cracks me up.

Smudge showing that he definitely knows how to relax.

Oh Cathie, I hope you're felling better soon. Did you line up in one of those long lines for your H1N1 flu jab yet?

Wow, that was fast! I guess when you're not up to anything else, you have time for handpiecing.
That paw print (pardon the pun) of Lester is really cute!
Hope you feel better and SOON.
Cathi Your blocks are gorgeous. Hang on to all of that Asian fabric that you have. I've been looking for it here in Indianapolis, and there is none to be found. I've ordered the other POTC Inklingo and have 1 1/2 blocks finished. I enjoy seeing what you are making with yours.
Oh look at that kissable paw! Sorry you're still sick my friend. Uh.
You are making a magic quilt with this plates. Whippin' thru! You Rock!!!
What a paw! I wouldn't have recognized it!!
You sure are quick at stitching up the plates...what's the hurry? LOL
The plates look wonderful. Amazing how much you can get done when you are feeling yucky.
Crispy
What a cute little pink paw!
And look at Smudge's magnificent tail!
Sorry you have a lingering headache. I've heard that about the flu--that the worst is the headache. For someone who is already prone to migraines, this must be miserable.
Hope you are feeling good as new real soon.
Your plates look great, i'm sure it will be one fantastic quilt!
Love the look of these plates and what a neat take-a-long project.
wow...they are coming along nicely....can't wait....hurry...hury...(don't you just need me nagging you?)
so sorry you're still feeling icky...it hangs on forever, doesn't it?...mr. paisley is still not 100%...
the china plates will be amazing and lester's paw is awesome!
i'll write soon...we've had the grandkids a ton this week and i am behind on everything! sorry!
Wow - you've been so busy. Please take some time to relax and get better.
Even under the weather, you sure got this quilt put together fast! Simply lovely fabrics. Smudge sure is sleeping a lot in these past few posts, hope he is keeping you company as you get better.
Love how the quilt is coming together.
Are you taking in lots of fluids? It's easy to get dehydrated when you have a cold/flu and that will give you a permanent headache. You should be taking in 2 litres of fluid on a daily basis on a normal day. When you have a cold/flu it should be at least 3 litres.
Love and hugs GIna xxx
wowowow - great job on the plates - don't you love it when a part of a project is done! Still I like how you put - "all I have to do now . . ." tooooo funny! Oh is that all? Can't wait to it the finished piece!
Your quilts are always fabulous. I can always look forward to eye candy including the cutties Lester and Smudge.
A pleasure to visit your blog.
Your blocks are just so lovely Cathi I do hope you are feeling better soon.
Cathi, I'm very sorry you are sick! Still, you have accomplished so much in the way of sewing. Your quilts always seem to have so much piecing to them and you finish the blocks so quickly. Also, you do such beautiful work. Thank you for sharing and for the pictures of Lester and Smudge. I hope you are feeling much better and have a blessed week. Pat Mc
