Every time DH goes anywhere near the roof garden, Sammy (as we have dubbed him) runs to see him and climb up his legs!
We're hoping to find an animal wrangler in the film business who will take Sammy and let him lead a cushy life as a squirrel star!
To keep this somewhat quilt related, the little 9-patch blocks for the teddy bear quilt are now all complete and I have started putting the rows together. My goal is to have it finished by the end of the weekend.

Who could resist such a cute little fella!
Your little quilt is going to be superb. I'd love to see it when it is finished with it's special recipient.
Glad you enjoyed the 'bluebell picnic'.

Oh my goodness, I've never seen anything like this. My Fudge likes them for a snack, but 99% of the time she's looking at them from the bottom of a tree.
He is the cutest thing!! I didn't know they could be tame!
What an amazing story! It's incredible how he is happy to be with people. I wonder whether it will last as he grows up?
Isn't he so cute! Sounds like he has found himself a very good place to live -LOL
We have lots of squirrel out here that can become quite tame - asking for food all the time. I think they are pretty smart little guys.
I think your Sammy is so cute. It reminds me of my son in first grade. His class did a skit for PTA and he was Sammy squirrel! Complete with ears and a tail! I called him my squirrely whirley for years after!
Love that last picture, too! Haven't seen that one. ;)
What a cute little guy! I can remember my grandmother befriending a little squirrel in her garden and he would go from one person's lap to the other have a nibble of some food and then have a little wee then would start to whole process again with the next person.
Glad to read in your later post that he's in good hands.
